Privacy
This notice covers hutassets.com, the public website. The last section covers the HutAssets application at app.hutassets.com, where the roles are different: there, the business using it decides what is stored, and we act on its instructions.
Who is responsible
Hut IT Solutions — [registered company name], [registered address], [company registration number] — is responsible for this website and for the data described below. Write to support@hutassets.com about anything on this page, including a request to exercise the rights listed at the end.
Visiting this website
There is nothing to sign up for and no form to fill in. The buttons on the homepage open your own mail program with a subject already written; nothing is sent anywhere until you send it yourself.
The server that answers this page keeps ordinary access logs — the address you connect from, the time, the page requested and the browser that asked — which is how a web server works and how abuse is noticed. They are kept only as long as they are useful for running and securing the site, and are never used to build a profile of you.
What is stored in your browser
Nothing is stored for analytics unless you agree to it. Until then this site sets no cookies at all.

Your answer to the analytics question is deliberately kept in local storage rather than a cookie, so that refusing analytics does not itself put a cookie on your machine.
Analytics
If you allow it, this site loads Google Analytics 4, provided in Europe by Google Ireland Limited. Until you allow it, nothing is requested from Google at all — the tag is not on the page.
Once loaded, it reports:
- which of the two pages you looked at, and the site or search that sent you
- an approximate location derived from your IP address, which Google Analytics 4 does not store in full
- your device type, browser and language
- clicks on the two buttons that open a mail, and on the link to sign in
The legal basis is your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can take it back at any time, here:
Your analytics choice
You have not answered yet, so nothing is being sent to Google.
Google may process this data outside the European Union under the standard contractual clauses. If you would rather not be counted, choose “No thanks” — the site works identically either way.
If you write to us
When you email support@hutassets.com we keep your message, your address and our reply, so that we can answer you and have a record of what was agreed. The basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and — where you are asking about becoming a customer — the steps taken before a contract. Ask us to delete an enquiry and we will, unless we are required to keep it.
The HutAssets application
This part is about app.hutassets.com rather than this website, and the roles are the other way round. A business using HutAssets decides what it keeps there — its customers, their people, equipment, tickets and credentials — and is the controller of that data. Hut IT Solutions is its processor: we hold and protect it, act on that business's instructions under a data-processing agreement, and use it for nothing else.
Services used to run it:
- Hetzner Online GmbH — the server, in Germany. All application data and uploaded documents live there.
- Resend — the relay that sends notification email on our behalf.
- No analytics of any kind runs inside the application. Google Analytics exists only on this public website.
Deleted records are recoverable for the retention period each business sets for itself — thirty days unless changed — after which they are purged. Backups of the database and uploaded documents are taken nightly and kept for fourteen days before being overwritten.
If you are a customer of a business that uses HutAssets and want to see, correct or delete what is held about you, ask that business: they are the controller, and we will help them do it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, object to it, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to support@hutassets.com; we answer within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or to the authority where you live.
Changes to this notice
When this notice changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes to how we handle personal data are told to customers directly rather than left here to be found.
